Blazer Business

Hello lovelies! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week and maybe tuning in for a bit of Wimbledon tennis.  Since I received my new blazer from Baukjen, I was inspired to take the blazer out of the office and create two alternative ways to wear it; one blazer, two ways.

First, I’ll introduce this beautiful blazer.  It’s a great piece from Baukjen.  I just discovered Baukjen and I’m so happy I did.  They are a London-based company with high-quality, modern pieces designed for women. I love that I can support a company from my home country as well.

First, some quick tips for making a blazer more casual:

  • pair with jeans
  • wear with feminine pieces
  • roll or push the sleeves up
  • wear with flats
  • messy, wavey hair

The first look is inspired by Victoria, from Inthefrow, who’s one of my favorite bloggers.  It’s an out-on-the-town type look.  I’d wear this on a casual day out shopping or to a sushi lunch (speaking of sushi, I could really go for some right now!).

I feel as though a blazer just pulls together any outfit and can make it look so polished.  In my opinion, you can just throw on a blazer and it looks like you tried ten times harder!

With my blazer, I paired some feminine pieces in order to make it more casual.  I chose an embroidered crop top from Topshop (that rhymed haha), a pair of classic jeans, and some lace-up, pink flats.

These flats are from Guilty Soles, who have some gorgeous shoes for awesome prices! This lace-up shoe trend has been really in this season so, I totally fell for these when I saw them.

This second look is more of a night-out look.  I’d probably wear this out for dinner with my girls friends.

For this evening look, I paired a high-neck, sleeveless crop top with my high-waisted gingham print pants. I chose the pale blue top in order to compliment the navy blazer.

I added my chunky, nude oxfords and some simple, rose-gold jewelry, from Minimalist Jewelry, to polish it all off!

I have some very exciting news! As of Monday, this site will be down for a couple of days because I am redesigning and moving my blog over to thestyletransplant.com! Yes, I own the .com now! I’m so excited.  The new site should be up and running by next weekend, but keep an eye out on Instagram and Facebook.  I’ll let you know when it’s back up!

Thank you all again so much for reading along. I hope you will all come back and subscribe once I’ve moved over. It means so much to me!
