A Very Vintage Summer

Swimwsuit: Top: Albion Fit, Bottom: Albion Fit                           (My exact pieces)
Hello friends! This week, since summer is officially here, I thought I’d share with you my new favorite swimsuit and one awesome pair of shades!  I have paired up with two amazing brands to bring you these beautiful, vintage-style pieces.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve become a regular pool goer in order to fight this growing summer heat.  Also a beach trip is not far around the corner so a new suit was a must on my summer wish list.

As for what I look for in swimwear, I have begun to lean toward vintage-inspired high-waisted bottoms.  With swimsuit tops, I always look for good support and single-straps, rather than halternecks.  Halternecks put a lot of strain on your neck and I just feel much more comfortable in a single strap suit.  Color wise, I’ve been going for all sorts haha.  I like to combine the bold and bright with black for a miss-matched, contrasted look.

This lovely suit I’m wearing is from Albion Fit, an amazing, family-owned, swimwear and fitness brand.  They have beautifully made vintage-inspired pieces that totally flatter any body-type. Not only are their pieces beautiful, they’re also comfortable.  I chose this perfect, high-waisted two-piece and I’m in love.  I cannot say enough about how perfect Albion Fit is!

Get yourself over to their website and browse through their many suits in amazing styles and prints.  Use my personal code, GEORGIEMAC , to get 15% off your purchase!!

[Sunglasses: Brightside Eyewear (my exact pair), Shoes: Old Navy]

These classic sunnies, from Brightside Eyewear, have quickly become my go-tos this summer.  I’ve been wearing them nearly everyday since they go with every outfit.  I love the vintage style of this pair and they go perfectly with my vintage-inspired suit.  These also came with an awesome leather case to protect them (you know I appreciate sunglasses with a case!).

[Hat: Target, Cover-up: Old Navy]

Accessory wise, I decided to add  a see-through, embroidered cover-up from Old Navy and a large brimmed sunhat from Target. You can never go wrong with Target, I swear.  I also added a pair of coral flats, from Old Navy, to complete the look.  (These flats happen to be on sale right now!)

[Special thanks to my lovely friend, photographer, and fellow blogger for taking these amazing shots! I’m so glad we’re reunited.  Thanks for making me look great! ]

Thank you all so much for tuning in this week, and I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I did shooting and writing it! I hope you are all have a gorgeous summer! Find me on Instagram to see some flatlays and photos of food because these are the best things haha.
